Natalie Ruiz

Natalie comes from a background of mentoring youth and young adults for many years prior to becoming a counselor. She is passionate about helping young people develop their sense of personal identity, process and heal from trauma, and overcome anxiety and depression. At a time in life when so much is changing, she loves to help young people become grounded within themselves and journey through these years with greater confidence and peace of mind. 

Since beginning her counseling career, Natalie works not only with youth, but individuals of all ages. She takes a person-centered approach, believing that you are capable of creating change in your own life with a renewed perspective, genuine support, and the right tools. She implements the skills and evidence-based interventions of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) along with any other therapeutic technique that will serve you best and help you heal. Areas of focus include anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD, trauma/PTSD, and stress management/relief. With her warmth and empathetic demeanor, Natalie creates a safe and non-judgmental space for her clients. Her approach ensures that each individual feels heard, understood, and actively involved in their therapeutic journey.

Antonio Frias

“One of my favorite parts about therapy is the openness to explore what you've been through, where you are, and where you'd like to go.” It is important that my clients feel safe and understood as we collaborate in our work together.” Antonio applies a person centered approach to his work with individuals. He often incorporates treatment modalities such as mindfulness, psychodynamic, and cognitive-behavioral therapy into his treatment. Antonio has a passion for inner child work, exploring how our adult behavior may stem from our childhood experiences. He have experience in areas such as LGBTQ+, multicultural, and substance use counseling, and have worked with individuals to better manage depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, self-esteem issues, stress management, and conflict resolution.

Lauren Acri

Lauren has an extensive history working with individuals facing a variety of life’s challenges, specifically those who have had their life disrupted by mental health struggles and trauma. Her areas of expertise are in mental health recovery, boosting health and wellness, and identifying/removing barriers we might encounter that keep us stuck. She completed her Master’s Degree at NYU with a specialization in Evidence Based Practice in community mental health. She is consistently energized and inspired by the courage and strength she witnesses in those making the choice to seek support and who have a desire for change and growth. She provides trauma informed care with a focus on holistic wellness, identifying each person’s unique strengths and abilities in order to tap into them when tackling complex issues

 

Sarah Wolff

Sarah comes from an extensive background in behavioral health working with youth and adults of all ages with developmental disabilities prior to counseling. Sarah uses a strength based approach to empower clients to discover their own inner strength to achieve their goals. She uses her background in the arts to implement creative techniques along with evidence based approaches like CBT and DBT techniques. Sarah is passionate about working with people of all ages including teens and youth, LGBTQIA+, anxiety, depression, relationships, social skills, and self-identity. Sarah believes in creating a safe non-judgemental space for clients to express themselves. Sarah is passionate about helping clients to explore their inner thoughts and experiences to create their own unique solutions that best serve them in an individualized environment.

Anjali Badrinath

“We live in an unpredictable world where there can be many barriers and limitations to your therapeutic journey. My job is to help you overcome those barriers and identify areas of strength in your identity and development that can support your process of growth.” Anjali is a firm believer in the idea that your cultural and social context provides an essential background for your work together. Anjali will follow your lead in understanding your individual needs and goals. Your work together will aims to build a solid foundation for you to stand on and feel empowered moving forward through your life. Anjali holds a  M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The College of New Jersey, and is a Doctoral Student in Counseling with Montclair State University. Her clinical focus included work with children, adolescents, adults, couples & families. Anjali’s specialties include work around depression, anxiety, culture and race related issues, Immigration, children/adolescents, family systems, relationships, trauma, and LGBTQ+. Specific modalities of treatment include CBT, DBT, Bowen Family Systems, Narrative Therapy, Trauma-Informed, Multicultural Approaches.
